Her history as one half of The Dresden Dolls, siamese twin musical duo, The Evelyn Sisters, and original role as Boston street statue has led to exposure worldwide.
Amanda often performs in the UK and was a regular sight at last year’s Edinburgh Fringe festival. She was busy guesting in shows such as Vive le Cabaret.
Amanda Palmer is known for her ninja gigs – unannounced performances in unusual settings – and online interaction with fans. Last year she wrote a blog about being unashamed to take money from audiences. It’s a really honest explanation of life for an artist.
