In honour of our trashy little brother, boylesque show, Boylexe, we put together a diagram comparing the scenes of burlesque and boylesque.
Obviously, this is in no way a full picture of what’s going on in burlesque, boylesque and cabaret, but a few thoughts and inspirations – hopefully presented nicely.
Burlexe is our theatrical London burlesque show and Boylexe is our trashy little brother, London boylesque show. We offer this introductory overview of the burlesque and boylesque scenes. Sexy, yes?
This diagram compares legends, pioneers, troupes, gurus, hotspots, all-rounders and go-to clothing stores. They also compare the two shows but those do have a few things in common. For example, they have both had the same fabulous host, Kele Le Roc.
