The fabulous world of burlesque is experiencing a resurgence so we’re here to share all the wild, wacky and wonderful developments. This month sees Parisian glamour, employment tips, a burlesque costume from start to finish and a good dose of altruism.
Rumour has it that Victoria Beckham is planning a birthday celebration with Paris burlesque. The designer is allegedly organising a trip to the Paradis Latin in the French capital for a Parisian party next month.
The invite list supposedly reads like the crème de la crème of the fashion world, according to the Daily Star Sunday. Not only that but the former Spice Girl was apparently recommended the spot by the sophisticated French first lady Carla Bruni.

It’s no secret that unemployment is high. Now the Huffington Post has come up with another novel solution for your CV: pole dancing lessons. They recommend taking a course in something a little different like pole dancing classes.
There’s lots and lots out there to choose from when learning how to pole dance, even Kate Moss and Emma Watson have done it. So, who are we to argue? Give in to peer pressure!

In these harsh times of austerity measures, it’s nice to see burlesquer dancers across the country doing good with a little bump and grind. In Suffolk, a group of ladies banded together to perform a “for one night only” burlesque show in aid of St Nicholas Hospice Care. None of the women had danced before but the night raised over £2,500 and rising via JustGiving.
