As a lot of British burlesque visitors can testify (including the one and only Miss Polly Rae), there’s a hot and vibrant burlesque scene in Oz. It’s also splintering into unique niche scenes and shows. Recently, we’ve been enjoying the geek burlesque causing some waves.
In “mainstream burlesque” last year Sina King (above) was crowned Miss Burlesque Australia 2011. She has since also won the Eros Shine adult industry award for ‘Best Australian Adult Industry Trailblazer’.
