If you’re thrifty, have some time and no feather allergy then why not give making your own a whirl.
This Youtube tutorial explains how to make a headdress and a feathery tail for your corset/dress. You’re warned that this is a messy process but the outcome looks as good as the professionals. Polish off that sewing machine and let us know how it goes.
Complete the look with elbow-length gloves and a lil bling. Then if you’re going full throttle, try burlesquing your own high heels, pasties and nipple tassels. And voila! Showgirl a-go-go!
