When we came across this Amanda Seyfried photoshoot by Ruven Afanador we had to share it with all you beautiful people.
Amanda Seyfried Photoshoot
We came across the Amanda Seyfried photoshoot after LA burlesque dancer, Dita Von Teese, also worked with the photographer, Ruven Afanador. It’s clear that he’s an amazing and talented photojournalist.
Fashion photographer, Ruven Afanador, is known for his stunning, ethereal and darkly sexual images. His photos are often drained of colour or black and white and push boundaries in the industry. Needless to say, we’re fans.
Ruven Afanador photographed the petite actress in these dazzling showgirl dressing room scenes. He shot Amanda Seyfried in neutral tones and silver, accessorised with top hats and headdresses.
Her posing and amazing costuming transform the mundane setting into a stage spotlight. We love to see celebs embracing burlesque.
We’re looking forward to more from this adorable actress. Not only has she starred in both Mean Girls and Les Misérables but Amanda Seyfried has a slew of films coming up in 2013.
Hopefully there will be more stage adaptations in her future. She’s certainly no stranger to the spotlight. Before Mamma Mia! many fans were unaware that the blonde beauty had previously studied Broadway-style singing and opera. She’s definitely our kind of girl.
