Kate Middleton, ahem, the Duchess of Cambridge’s cousin, also known as Katrina Darling burlesque dancer, has been making headlines again. Though she’s not the only royal relative who’s a burlesque performer.
Miss Katrina Darling burlesque antics first hit the tabloids by burlesque dancing to ‘God Save the Queen’ during the Queen’s diamond jubilee, her Playboy cover shoot (above) and by gracing the cover of Loaded magazine.

Katrina Darling also flashes her crown jewels on stage. Performing in Austria, her audience included former US President Bill Clinton, Elton John and his husband David Furnish, according to The Daily Mail. The big names were attending the Life Ball, which raises money for HIV and AIDS charities.

Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, also has a burlesque dancing relative. Emma Parker Bowles joined her friends for a charity burlesque performance and she wrote about it for The Daily Mail.
She wrote about joining the LA burlesque troupe, The Dollface Dames, with wit and modesty. She said, “The closest I would get to Dita Von Teese would be as a scarecrow in her garden.”
She added, “This was why I said yes. It was time to embrace my femininity.” Bravo to that!
