Burlesque dancer and long-time friend of Burlexe, Rubyyy Jones shakes her thang in our latest burlesque gifs. Let us (re-) introduce you to this wonderful burlesque performer.
Canadian burly beauty, Rubyyy Jones is known for her sweet and shocking burlesque dancing. Though she has many many talents.
Before studying Rubyyy Jones made her professional acting debut in the Vagina Monologues, Canada (we told you we loved her). She then went onto become a triple threat with her superb musical, dance and theatrical skills.
After moving to London Rubyyy made her burlesque debut at the last ever Tournament of Tease in the capital. Also on the bill was blonde bombshell and burlesque queen, Dirty Martini. Oh and us too! Of course, wink. We haven’t been able to get enough of Rubyyy Jones ever since.
She first starred as one of our guest burlesque dancers in June 2011 alongside the Exotic Luna Rosa. We revelled in the opening of her London burlesque boutique, Burlique. Then in 2013 we announced Rubyyy Jones as our poster girl!
Rubyyy Jones also launched The Save Rubyyy Jones Revue this year. It’s held the last Friday of every month at The World’s End. The show has already showcased some of our fave London burlesque dancers including Fancy Chance, Lolo Brow and Grace Fury. We can’t wait to see what she does next.
