Our friends at The High Tea Cast are returning to Kensington with a stupendous blend of comedy, burlesque and the best in sing-along rock ’n’ roll goodness. All in aid of London Based charity Janie’s School.
The High Tea Cast Presents Sex & Mugs & Rock ‘n’ Roll
The High Tea Cast are supporting the charity which aims to finish building a school for young girls of Cambodia. Their last fundraiser helped generate £1.3K, so you’d be helping third world women build a life for themselves.
The event takes place on 24th November at the Archangel Nightclub, Kensington High Street. It features the likes of The Vaccines’ pals, Kid Champion and The Cheek Of It’s Lady Cheek followed swiftly by a DJ set ‘til 2am.
Founder of Janie’s School, Jennifer Begg, said, “I started Janie’s School as a way to honour my mum’s memory as a strong woman who worked hard, along with my dad, to provide an education for her children.”
She added, “We didn’t have to fight to go to school, learning wasn’t political for us but in 2012 in the developing world, it is.”
Book your tickets in advance at www.aaa.uk.net, and have the time of your life while helping to save third world women.

See what The High Tea Cast said about Burlexe (and lots of other interesting things) on their website.
Burlexe is a sensational London burlesque show inspired by the women who created the genre and perform the art. It fuses burlesque performance with storytelling, dancing with acting.
We look for inspiration in fashion, politics, music and certainly altruism. The High Tea cast’s latest venture is certainly one such source.
We look to influential and successful women as our inspiration and these are our kind of women. Join us for the Burlexe show by booking your ticket.
