I always believed that women have rights and that there are some women that are intelligent enough to claim those rights. There are some others that are stupid enough not to.
In her short 35 years the Columbian singer Shakira has had a successful career in music. She has won Grammys, Latin Grammys and been nominated for a Golden Globe.
Shakira has played more benefit concerts than most and her talented belly dancing skills have taught many women to appreciate and enjoy their curves.
One of our favourite Shakira quotes (above) may be somewhat cynical but they show her belief in female empowerment. It expresses the view that women should claim their rights and feminism is the belief in your rights and equality. It’s only logical, people.
