The line-up for the World Burlesque Games 2013 has been announced. Find out what you can look forward to.
World Burlesque Games 2013
Last year’s London Olympics brought so many good things into our lives. We fell in love with Olympic Heroes, Forever Crazy was on the South Bank and the London Burlesque Festival marked the event with the World Burlesque Games 2012.
After the success of the London Burlesque Festival 2013, the World Burlesque Games is returning to London. The burlesque competition will now be an annual autumn event. We can’t wait.
Burlesque producer, Chaz Royal is the creator of both these London burlesque events. He said: “The World Burlesque Games 2013 is without doubt the world’s greatest competition of international burlesque talent.
“After seven years of producing London Burlesque Festival, it only made sense for us to run World Burlesque Games again after the success of the event we ran in 2012, in spirit of the Olympics.
“The WBG will now run annually in November outside of the regular London Burlesque Festival program. Starring the best in burlesque striptease acts from around the globe, selected from over 300 submissions. This year’s event is set to be even more glamorous.
“Participants will be competing for monetary and product prizes, endorsements and the coveted World Burlesque Games Crown in various categories.”
