The launch of the Dita Von Teese perfume UK has arrived. Porcelain burlesque beauty, Dita Von Teese, revealed her new fragrance at Liberty London.
The launch of the Dita Von Teese perfume UK arrived at Liberty London with fans queuing down the street to meet the LA burlesque dancer. The high end department store was abuzz with speculation about the new scent.
Liberty described the fragance saying, “Dita created a timeless scent which opens with a head note composed of fresh peonies, fizzy bergamot, and slightly spicy Bourbon pepper.
“The heart of the perfume beguiles the senses with a full and at the same time pure bouquet of Bulgarian rose, Tahitian Tiaré petals, and fresh jasmine. And in the base note, the mystical and warm scents of patchouli, musk, and smoky Gaiac wood and sandalwood captivate all who smell it.”
Dita Von Teese said, “I think a lot of fragrances on the market are reminders of childhood. Most of them have a girlish, sweet and very juvenile character.
“In contrast, I wanted something that speaks of wanting to be a grown-up, sophisticated woman who is in charge of her life. I just love the idea of something that is both: very good, sophisticated and elegant, but also a little bit mysterious, dark and dangerous.”
The LA burlesque superstar has been all over the world recently. Alongside her perfume in London, Dita launched Art Deco makeup in Germany and Von Follies by Dita Von Teese lingerie line with Target Australia.
It’s clear that Dita Von Teese is building her empire and we can’t wait to see what she does next. Come back to London soon! Ahem.
