There are foil lipsticks on the market from the likes of MAC and Revlon. These are great for a day look with our tips for applying lipstick perfectly.
If you’re not into playing it safe, however, there’s now a whole range of outrageous foil lips on the market. Lip Rock or a quick Amazon search will give you the tools to get the look.
You begin by cleaning your lips and making sure they’re dry then make the taut-lip makeup applying face. To put on the foil lips you use an adhesive and wait for it to go from milky to clear. And you do have to wait or it won’t work.
Then you put the foil, shiny side up, on your lips and press on. Shiny side up!! Again it’s a short wait and voila. You can even re-touch easily by repeating this method on any gaps.
Once you’ve mastered these simple steps you can experiment with two-tone and ombré lips. Plus, foil lips have a long-lasting stay so you can dance the night away.

This method can also be repeated for nails, body-art and yes foil eye makeup. This look has even been seen on catwalks and now you too can shine.
