Unique London burlesque show Burlexe returned to its original stomping ground the Shadow Lounge in April for another run of shows.
This time round, Burlexe was a three-woman outing, starring r’n’b singer Kele le Roc as hostess together with London Academy of Burlesque Jo King and long time-collaborator Burlexe-collaborator Chloe Ewart in acting roles, some of which are almost our trademark monologues, some brand new.
Unique London Burlesque Show
Also performing burlesque was Jo King, who wowed to Madonna’s Like It Or Not while Chloe Ewart’s unhinged debut as Lady Mei thrilled – nobody could believe she’d never burlesqued before.
