Coming soon to an ebook store near you is the Australian burlesque personality and producer, Jac Bowie tell-all biography Behind The Burlesque.
Her earlier theatrical memory involves embarrassing her mother whilst singing Madonna’s ‘Like a Virgin’. She was aged six and in the middle of Franklins Supermarket in Sydney.
She also remembers putting on concerts and fashion parades when her parents had dinner parties. Jac Bowie said, “I’d put up posters in the house and charge guests for tickets!”
Jac Bowie has a knack for spotting an emerging trend before most people and finding a way to turn it into a dollar. She got involved in Australian burlesque and made it a business pulling in 37,000 followers on Facebook and 20,000 on Twitter en route.
Now Jac Bowie’s tell-all book, Behind The Burlesque, is due for release in December 2012. That’s not all. She has a second book, Business in Heels, and a series of seminars and events planned for 2013.
