Our Burlexe burlesque shop features unique items created, co-created, curated or sourced by us from the worlds of burlesque, showgirls and showmen – as well as the performing arts.

Burlexe works with a number of fulfilment partners to produce, print and/or ship our orders. Please check the product descriptions as this will affect how and when things are delivered.

We’re in regular communication with our partners for the latest updates on what’s going on in the light of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Our fulfilment partners are still operating and we’re therefore accepting orders. Fulfilment and shipping may take longer but your order will reach you.

The Small Print

In general, Burlexe works with either a print-on demand partner or a number of individual businesses – and the finer print relating to how these differ according to deliveries, shipping etc is outlined below and should be clear as you go through the checkout process.

Print On Demand Products

Delivery

It takes 3-7 days to fulfil an order, after which it’s shipped out.

The shipping time depends on your location but can be estimated as follows: USA: 5-8 business days International: 10-20 business days and is fulfilled from different facilities worldwide.

An additional customs and tax fee can occur on international orders. This fee is not in our control and is assessed by your local customs office. Customs policies vary widely for every country so please check with your local customs office directly to see if they apply duties and taxes to your purchases.

If your package hasn’t arrived when expected, please help us out before contacting us by doing the following:

  • Check your shipping confirmation email for any mistakes in the delivery address.
  • Ask your local post office if they have your package.
  • Stop by your neighbours in case the courier left the package with them.

Returns

We don’t offer returns and exchanges, but if there’s something wrong with your order, please let us know by contacting us at hello@burlexe.com!

Refunds are only offered to customers that receive the wrong items or damaged items. If any of these apply, please contact us at hello@burlexe.com with photos of wrong/damaged items and we’ll sort that out for you.

Damage

If the product you ordered arrived damaged, please email us at hello@burlexe.com within a week’s time with photos of the damaged product, your order number, and any other details you may have about your order. We’ll get back to you with a resolution as soon as possible.

Wrong Address

If you provide an address that is considered insufficient by the courier, the shipment will be returned to our facility. You will be liable for reshipment costs once we have confirmed an updated address with you (if and as applicable).

Unclaimed

Shipments that go unclaimed are returned to our designers/facilities and you will be liable for the cost of a reshipment (if and as applicable).

Third Party Products for Burlexe

Delivery

Our delivery time starts from the moment your order is accepted, but please allow 72 hours for dispatch and processing of your order.

We include the cost of all duties and taxes in your order, so you won’t need to pay any additional fees.

However, all internationally shipped items are subject to potential customs fees. Please be aware we are not liable for any charges levied or any delay custom checks may cause. Customs policies vary widely for every country so please check with your local customs office directly to see if they apply duties and taxes to your purchases.

Returns

Please read our returns policy carefully to ensure your request can be processed as quickly as possible:

  • You must request a return within 14 days of receiving your order.All returns are FREE worldwide.
  • Online returns should be sent directly back to the designer. If you require an exchange, please send us an email at: hello@burlexe.com and our customer care team will advise you on the process.
  • You cannot return items that have been made to order or personalised for you.
  • Due to the nature of our products and hygiene regulations, skincare and beauty products can only be returned for a refund if they are unopened, unused and in a re-saleable condition with all tamper-resistant seals, packaging and any plastic wrapping intact.
  • All items must be sent back to our designers in perfect condition and in the original packaging provided. Where provided, any branded packaging such as dust bags, jewellery boxes and clothing tags should be included in your return.
  • Accepted returned items will be credited to the payment method used to originally purchase the items within 2 working days of receiving the return. Refunds to a credit or debit card can take up to 10 working days. Any original shipping charges will not ordinarily be refunded.

Damage

Any claims for misprinted/damaged/defective items must be submitted within 14 days after the product has been received. For packages lost in transit, all claims must be submitted no later than 14 days after the estimated delivery date. Claims deemed an error on our part are covered at our expense.

Wrong Address
